4 Keys to Unleash Your Financial Breakthrough

Money is never a sin, but the love of money is (1 Timothy 6:10). Your financial prosperity is important to God. But His desire is that you seek His Kingdom first and make His righteousness your greatest passion and desire in life (Matthew 6:33). It is God’s expectation that nothing on earth occupies His place in your heart.

When you love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength, financial prosperity becomes inevitable. Why? This is because in the Kingdom of God prosperity is common. Wealth is normal. But until you become a passionate kingdom pursuer and citizen, Kingdom prosperity can never be appropriated into your life. Your passion, focus, pursuit, worship and honour must be toward the Giver and not the gift. God wants to unleash His abundant wealth into your life, provided you start pursuing the right source.

Money is not a miracle; it is a reward for seeking God’s kingdom and his righteousness first. Wealth is a divine reaction to humans, when their hearts of genuine love are perceived by Heaven.

God understands how important financial freedom will be to your life, family, relationships and ministry. But He must firstly trust your faith and faithfulness. Therefore, instead of pursuing money, begin to pursue God. He is your source for every good thing (Psalm 84:11). Ask the Holy Spirit to help you correct your focus, birthing a holy desire for His Kingdom and divine intimacy.

4 Keys to unleash your Financial Breakthrough

  • Know that God is your Source. You must understand that He is your source for financial prosperity (Deuteronomy 8:18; Isaiah 48:17; James 1:17).
  • Believe that God delights in your prosperity. Unless you believe that God wants you prosper financially, you cannot activated your faith for it. Faith is the activator of the Covenant promises for wealth (Psalm 112:1-3; Job 36:11; Psalm 35:27).
  • Make God your greatest passion in life. God is our reason for Living, not money. When you prioritise God, He will prioritise your provisions (Matthew 6:33, Isaiah 1:19).
  • Become a passionate sower. It is a divine principle that when you release what is in your hands, God will release what is in His hands (Luke 6:38). Your willingness to give is a continuous test of your trust in God. God commands giving to expose greediness and lack of trust. Your willingness to give freely confirms that in God you trust, and not in money. Step up your giving commitments. Begin to tithe and give offerings. The bible says God will react favourably to your sacrifice of giving (Malachi 3:10-12).Your seed is a picture of your faith in God.
