Engineered For Instructions – Part 1

Earth was designed by instructions and for instructions. The earth and everything in it came into existence by the instructions of God (Genesis 1). There is nothing on the earth that is not a product of an instruction. The bible says that “By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s COMMAND” (Hebrews 11:3). God operates by instructions. He rules the heaven by the words of His mouth.

Likewise, man was created by God’s instructions and for instructions (Deuteronomy 4:36). He then gave man authority to dominate and rule the earth by his own instructions, just like He Himself rules the heaven (Genesis 1:27-28). The whole creation has been instructed by God to be submissive to the instructions of man. This is because if indeed man was created in the image of God, he must have a domain, and the authority to govern it. That was exactly what God did. He gave the earth unto man to rule through the power of his Word.

What is an instruction? An instruction is a spoken or written mandate to be adhered to for a specific outcome. It is an authoritative impartation of focused information for an expected outcome. We are all creatures of instructions. We receive instructions vertically (regarding our relationship with God) and horizontally (regarding our relationship with ourselves and with each other). Therefore whether you know it or not, you are always instructing or being instructed. No day passes by without numerous numbers of instructions changing hands on the earth.

Now, since man is a spirit, who possesses a soul and lives in a body, he has multi-dimensional channels to diffuse instructions into his domain (earth). There are three main ways humans impact their world with instructions; words, thoughts and reactions:

Words

This is the most common and obvious way we instruct others. Each time we speak, whether to others or to ourselves, we birth something into our environment. Words create. Humans’ words have the capability to produce results. Like I said earlier, the universe will always work the extra miles to respond to the conversations of man. Why? Simply because, as far as earth is concerned, the only legitimate authority on the earth is man, not even Satan or his rebellion angels. The whole creation understands and expects the legitimacy of the authority of man on earth.

Earth is under a divine mandate to yield according to the orders given by man, who is the Crown of Creation. When man speaks, the whole creation listens. The whole creation is constantly on the alert for instructions from us (Romans 8:19-23). The destiny of the creation is tied to man; not to the devil. The devil deceptively gained a temporary custody of earth when Adam and Even disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, but Jesus, by His blood, restored man back to God and reinstated the dominion lost as a result of disobedience.

Therefore, if you’ve saved by the blood of Jesus, you have dominion because of Jesus’ redemptive work at Calvary. You’ve been authorised again to exercise dominion over Satan, the flesh, the world, your feelings, emotions and circumstances. You’ve been empowered to rule on the earth.

Interestingly, God also respects this order of responsibility. Since He has given man total dominion of the earth, everything God does on the earth must to come through man (Psalm 115:16; Genesis 1:28). God will never do anything without the involvement of man. He will never violate His words. That is why we have been instructed to pray, because it is the only channel through which we invite  God to get involved with earth’s affairs. Prayer is the authorisation for divine intervention. It is permission for divinity to influence humanity.

I have decided to share with you about the mandate of man for dominion so that you could realise why human words are powerful. Whether you are born again or not, your words have the ability to determine your destiny. Everyone, believer or unbeliever, was created in God’ image and has been designed with creative words just like his Creator.

But one of the advantages a believer has over a non-believer, apart from the security of eternal life, is the privilege of divine intimacy. We have direct access to God though our lord Jesus. Thus, we can use our words to invite heaven to earth. When we speak words of faith according to the word of God, divine intervention is unleashed from above on our behalf. Through the Life of Christ in us, we are partakers of divine nature (2 Peter1:3-4).

Words create reactions. Therefore, when you talk, ensure it is what you want to experience in your future. Negative words birth a negative future. But positive words create a pleasant future. The bible says, “A man’s stomach shall be satisfied from the fruit of his mouth, From the produce of his lips he shall be filled. Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit” (Proverbs 18:20-21). Words birth seasons, whether it is a season of pain or of pleasure. If you want to experience seasons of joy, you must continue to speak accordingly and not in the contrary.

The Word of God is living and powerful (Hebrews 4:12).  When you put it in your mouth and in your heart, it births hope. It gives you pictures of possibilities.  As you wash your mind daily with the Word, your mind is renewed, leading to confidence to alter words that strengthens you and others around you. Your words will either build up or tear down. That is why we are instructed to let our speeches be full of grace and seasoned with salt (Ephesians 4:29).

Speak hope, love, faith, confidence, peace, prosperity, and grace into your life and into the life of your husband, wife, and children. Speak words of prosperity and fulfilment into your work, business, your children’s studies and their future, and you will create a fulfilled future. The nature of the future we create will be determined by the quality of our words today.
