How To Restore Order Into Your Life in Times of Disorder

Order is the precise and harmonious arrangement of things. It is when nothing is missing, broken or displaced. Order is when someone or something  functions as intended by the creator or manufacturer. Your health is in order if everything functions as intended by your Creator.

A relationship is in order if no animosity exists and both parties feel valued, respected, and fulfilled. Likewise, there is order in your financial future if you are able to fulfil all your financial commitments and still have savings. Also, if you have found your purpose in life with clear a goal for achieving it, you can say there is order regarding your future.

God is a God of order. He is the author of order. He has a strong dislike for disorder. The bible says that, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James 1:17).

Order is the essence of God. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of order. He births order into our spirits and also restores order to any area of our lives where there is disorder.

Disorder destroys destinies. The greatest struggle of life is for order. Sins, pain, sickness, confusion, anxiety, stress, depression, bitterness, poverty are all proofs of disorder. The devil is the emblem of disorders. His greatest passion is to see the entire world eaten up with disorders.

But the bible says, “For this purpose, the Son of God was made manifested that He might destroy the works of darkness” (1 John 3:8).

Jesus came to destroy the disorder created by sins. He paid the penalty of our sins by His blood (Romans 6:23) and restored mankind back to order, according to the intentions of our Creator, God the father. Jesus is our High Priest who is always willing to sympathise with the feelings of our weaknesses.

Is there any disorder in your life? In what area of your life are you not functioning according to the intention of God for your life? Is there disorder in your relationship with God? Is God on the top of your list of priorities or is He completely missing? What is it that represents disorder in your relationships, health, emotions, finances, peace, joy and your purpose for living?

The purpose of order is safety. And where there is safety there is productivity. God wants to restore order to every part of your life, so that you can know joy and experience His peace as you fulfil His purpose for your life. But it is important for you to put in place the greatest order in life, for which you are responsible – to passionate lift the name of the Lord up and make Him your all in all.

Let Him take control of your life. Surrender all to Him. Make Him your first and most important order of the day. When you displace God in your life, you also displace order in your life.

The purpose of a legitimate authority is to maintain order. When a nation submits to the authority of a Government, it becomes the responsibility of that Government to maintain order and provide safety for the people. Order becomes the Government’s responsibility, while obeying the Rules is the citizens’ responsibility.

In the same manner, If God becomes your ultimate Authority on the earth; He will ensure that order is restore into life. But your obedience to His rules (instructions) is necessary.

The Bible is a book about instructions; the purpose for which is order. Scripture is God’s manual that births order in humans. It contains everything you will ever need for life and Godliness. It is the life’s prescriptions for joy, peace, prosperity, healing and fulfilment. It is, therefore, your submission and obedience to divine instructions that releases divine order into your life. Every movement towards God and His word is a movement towards order. When order increases in your life, your joy, energy and productivity increase. The reward of order is the absence of pain caused by disorder. Disorder disturbs, but order guarantees you a glorious and fulfilled future.

“For God is not a God of disorder but of peace.” 1 Corinthians 14:33
