“Imagination Is Like a Blank Cheque; You Can Cash In Whatever You Dare To Imagine”

Your mind has two important faculties; the memory and the imagination. Through the memory, you re-collect your past experiences, and through your imagination, you pre-collect your future desires.

Your imagination is a divine gift to you, not to use to extend your doubts, worries and anxieties into the future, but rather to use as an instrument to mould your desirable future experiences. Imagination is God’s blank cheque to humans. It is an inherent divine in man to schedule the events of his future. Your destiny is not in your future; rather it is hidden in your imagination.

Therefore it is important to that your objects of imagination are products of your faith in the word of God. Jesus said in Mark 9:23 that, “…, If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes.”  Instead of imagining a future of fear, distress, poverty, isolation, rejection, illnesses, failure, dissatisfaction and mediocrity, start writing, by faith, God’s promises for your future on the blank cheque of your imagination. God is willing to accomplish, even far beyond your imagination, whatever you dare to imagine that lines up with the Word (Ephesians 3:20). Unless you set your imagination in positive motion, according to the will of God, your mind will continue to feed your imagination with the negative pictures of your fears, inadequacies and weaknesses.

God is always waiting patiently to smell the fragrance of your trust and faith in Him through your bravery to imagine a scriptural future for yourself and your family. When you stand firm on what the Word of God says regarding your future and that of your household, you proof of your confidence in God, and God is glorified. And where God is glorified, His blessings abide.

Therefore, take authority in the name of Jesus over every unbelief, doubt, fear and evil thought that might have been rooted in your imagination, and begin to furnish your mind with pictures of possibilities through God’s Word. Your future is whatever dominates your imagination. So, let the Word of God become the prevailing picture of your imaginings, and you will sculpture a glorious destiny (John 11:40).

For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

Bless you,
