Mentorship

Mentorship is impartation of wisdom. Mentorship is learning through the disappointments, discovery, pain and experiences of another.

Your success will require more than your mind. You will need to access the mind of God (through the help of The Holy Spirit) and also the minds of men and women whose accomplishments your respect. God has hidden keys to success in different individuals. Instead of painfully learning from your mistakes, you can choose to learn from a mentor.

Mentoring is scriptural. The Holy Spirit is our Master Mentor.

(John 14:26) “But the Counsellor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”

Also, it is a divine expectation that we are in mentorship with proven and good people.

(Hebrews 6:12)  “We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.” Isaiah 51:2

(Proverbs 2:20) “Follow the steps of good men instead, and stay on the paths of the righteous.”

Examples of human mentorship in the bible: Elijah mentored Elisha. Mordecai mentored Esther. Naomi mentored Ruth. Jesus mentored the disciples. Paul mentored Timothy.
