7 Keys to Multiple Increase From Small Beginning

Never Despise Small Beginnings. Do not be tempted to look down on your humble beginnings. Everything big starts little. Every human on the earth began the journey of life as a tiny embryo in the womb of their mother. A farmer plants a small seed in the ground, and the seed grows to become a huge tree. Everything on the earth can be traced to its humble beginning. Even the earth was formless and empty in the beginning (Genesis 1:1-2).

The entire universe is run by the Law of the Seed and Harvest. A seed denotes “beginning,” meaning that the beginning of everything will always be smaller compared with its end. The smallness and the insignificance of the present are the seeds for the bigness and the significance of the future. It is unnatural not to increase.

Whatever you have today is a potential seed for uncommon greatness in your future. Everything you possess is a starting point. Jesus began at the stable, but finally became our wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30). David began as a shepherd boy with only a slingshot to his name, but went on to defeat Goliath and eventually became a king. Joseph was dumped in a pit and later sold into slavery, but grew to become the Prime Minister of Egypt. The widow of Zarephath had no meal left, having sown her last meal into the life of Elijah, but she ended up having more than enough throughout the famine. The bible says, “For who has despised the day of small things? …” (Zechariah 6:10).

Be willing to begin small. Whatever you have in your hands today is a seed loaded with a divine potential for greatness. I feel there are few steps for you today:

  1. Know your source. God is your source. He formed you. Without Him you can do nothing (John 15:5; Proverbs 3:5-8).
  2. Believe that God wants you to increase. Your belief system determines your success (Genesis 1:28; Jeremiah 29:11).
  3. Enter into His presence daily for worship, strength and direction (Psalm 63:1; Psalm 37:23-24). Worship corrects your focus. The Holy Spirit strengthens and guides.
  4. Exercise your faith.  Your success will require miracles, and faith is the seed for miracles. Faith is the supernatural key that unlocks divine treasures (Hebrews 11:8).
  5. Cultivate daily success habits toward your goal. Your future is hidden in your daily habits (Daniel 6:10).
  6. Become part of the success stories of others. Make problem solving your life-time goal (Job 42:10; Ephesians 6:8).
  7. Be patient. Waiting time is never wasted time. God is preparing you for greatness. He is orchestrating your significance (James 1:4, Hebrews 6:12).

As you trustGod in the day of small things, He will focus to ensure your success.

“Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly” (Job 8:7).
