Small Steps Matter

Progress is never inevitable; it will require focus, passion, learning and a daily small step forward. The first step towards progress is to believe you are capable of progressing. The second step is to decide where you are heading for. The third step is to take the first small step forward.

After you’ve got a clear picture of your vision, set achievable goals to reach it and then break down your goals into daily small steps. What makes your invisible vision to become visible is what you do daily. The unseen vision that you act out daily will become seen in time. Your daily small steps in the right direction are the bridges between your vision and its manifestation.

Achieving your goals in life will require the first step of faith, and then small forward steps of endurance through life’s obscurities. I love what Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” In other words, you don’t even have to see in detail how you will get there. Just activate your faith the first step, thank Him for it and then trust the Holy Spirit for the remaining steps. Great things are always series of small steps that won’t just quit progressing, even when the road seems blurred.

Never despise your small steps. They are the vital jigsaws in the puzzle of your future success. Be consistent with them. Take them with great expectation. Celebrate them, and keep thanking God in advance for your successful future.

“And though your beginning was small, your latter days will be very great.” Job 8:7
