Personality traits may be inborn; but laughter is a choice. Life challenges may arrive unpredicted; but happiness is a decision. Adversity might hits so strong, but it never negotiates your depression. Depression is a human reaction to overwhelming adversity. In other words, your happiness is your choice, and so is your depression. You can choose to create laughter by focussing on the positives, or you can decide to dwell on the pain of your disappointments and slump into depression. You are responsible for the produce of your emotions.

Laughter is a mental strategy to neutralise stress and unleash peace into your mind. It is also a contagious energy, capable of strengthening and prolonging life. When you choose to see the pleasant side of life and laugh aloud, regardless of your challenges, you birth new energy and document your unwillingness to be defeated. .

Laughter is a powerful internal vigour that explains your unwillingness to succumb to the spirit of heaviness. It is an announcement to the enemy that your spirit is not yet crushed, despite the intensity of your trials. The bible says, “A man’s spirit sustains him in sickness, but a crushed spirit who can bear?” (Proverbs 18:14).

  • Find something that makes you laugh.
  • Adapt your environment for laughter. Keep things that make you laugh handy in around your home
  • Make a deliberate effort to discharge the joy of the Holy Spirit within you.
  • Do not take yourself too seriously. Relax.
  • Play with children. They will make you laugh.

Laughter speeds up healing process as speedily as sadness creates depression (Proverbs 15:13). Start to laugh aloud today and unlock the energy and joy crucial for your victory. Laugh aloud!
