Turn Your Faith Loose

Faith is confidence in the integrity of God. It is being persuaded that God will fulfil what He says in His Word (Romans 4:20-21). Faith is very important to God because it is His nature. This is why He cannot be pleased without faith (Hebrews 11:6). God’s greatest obsession is to be believed. No wonder He has shaped everything in His Kingdom to run by faith.

Since God functions by faith, and we were made in His image, it becomes vital that we also live a life of faith if we are to function as God intends. The bible says, “Now the just shall live by faith (Hebrews 10:38; Habakkuk 2:4; Romans 1:17; Gal 3:11). In other words, faith is what gives us life. When faith is not in the equation, the result is spiritual death (Romans 8:6). Thus, instead of functioning according to our Creator’s specifications, we begin to malfunction. This can explain why we have a great deal of malfunctioning in the world system and even in the body of Christ.

Living by faith simply means choosing to believe what the Word says instead of what your eyes see or what others say. It is fashioning your life on the principles of God and not of the facts and figures of the world system.

The only way we can release God’s mighty hands into our situations is to release our faith. The arena of faith is the arena of the miraculous. Faith is the supernatural force that unleashes divine intervention.

While your pain and tears touch the heart of God, He is not committed to your deliverance until you approach His throne of grace with confidence (faith) (Hebrews 4:16). God wants you to remind Him of His Word with your faith wrapped around it (Isaiah 43:26).

I believe it hurts the heart of God when His redeemed children choose to make the doctors’ reports the final authority regarding their health situation. Medical science is a gift of God to humanity but not to be turned to an idol where all our hopes and trust reside.

Concerning your health, finances and relationships, choose to turn your faith loose towards God. Locate Scriptures that resonate the promises of God and His will concerning what you are going through, and begin to say it until you see it come pass. The bible says, “you will have what you say (Mark 11:24).” Stand your ground against the power of darkness. Hold on to your faith in the Word and you will see the glory of God.

Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low;
the uneven ground shall become level, and the rough places a plain. And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken
.” Isaiah 40:4-5

    Thank you, Wale, for feeding us so well from the Lord’s banquet table. For me, faith is the only means by which I can progress in my climb towards the summit of God’s mountain.
