Worship While Waiting

Patience is the grace to remain steadfast in faith until your expected future unfolds. Waiting time is never wasted time, but workout time. This is the period that God uses to get us in shape for the purpose He has for our future. Waiting time is therefore preparation time.

Every vision requires seasons of waiting. Abraham waited for 25 years before receiving his promised son. Joseph waited for 13 years before his dream became a reality. David had to be patient for 14 years before mounting the throne of Israel. Likewise, Jesus waited for 30 years for the three and a half years of unprecedented ministry. Your willingness to wait is proof of your confidence in the faithfulness of God.

You might be born in the palace, but your making will have to take place in the dessert. Moses was raised in the palace, but trained in the dessert. Whatever presently represents a dessert-experience in your life is a training ground for your divine purpose. God documents your trust for Him every single day you wait upon Him.

Stand firm in adversity. Hold on to your faith. Prioritise obedience to the word of God. Excel in thanksgiving. He who has promised is faithful. He will never disappoint you.

“For you need endurance, so that after you have done God’s will you can receive what he has promised.” Hebrews 10:36
